Images of Hurricane Matthew from my balcony. I had never seen rain like that in my entire life. The gray in the background is rain. I think that day we got 5 1/2 inches of rain…not much compared to other parts of the state, but still, quite a bit.

As I write this I am hearing and seeing a Nor’Easter blow up the coast right outside my window. It’s fierce. I think I even heard thundersnow! I can sympathize with a lot of moisture right now.

Ooo, it’s been a long time since I’ve heard thundersnow. I get totally self indulgent during storms. I make cookies and watch copious amounts of Netflix.
