If you could choose any person from history to be your imaginary friend, who would it be and why?

Hmm. A historical imaginary friend? That’s an unique twist. Let’s see… Jane Austin. Definitely Jane Austin. Brilliant, creative, tough, and girlie at the same time. You know she’d throw down the Reginas of the world with a smile and still tell you whether or not those shoes you bought at Nordstrom Rack are a good match to that new J.Crew dress you bought after you got dumped by that stupid day trader you met at your other friend’s wedding.

Not that any of the that really happened, btw.

60s, 70s, 80s, 90s: Which decade do you love the most and why?

The 1990s.

9-11 meant 9-1-1.

Nirvana smelled like teen spirit.

Grunge was a fashion statement.

The economy was strong enough so that average people could make money.

The X-Files.

The Berlin wall came down, the Soviet empire collapsed, and we forgot about the possibility of nuclear annihilation for a minute.

Harry Potter.

Cell phones – not smartphones.

Pulp Fiction.

Coffee… the Good Kind.

When you die, what do you want to be remembered for?

That I was kind.

What did you appreciate or what made you smile this past week? 

A line from Holly Black’s The Darkest Part of the Forest:
