Since we are approaching the hottest part of our summer in the northern hemisphere, what’s your favorite ice-cream, frozen yogurt or sorbet flavor?

Vanilla. I know. Sneer all you want, but a good vanilla has a lot of nuance and subtly within its creamy goodness. Plus, it goes with everything. Put it in your coffee, on your blueberry pie, or eat it out of the tub.

All the time.

If you had a choice which would be your preference salt water beaches, fresh water lakes, ocean cruise, hot tub, ski resort or desert?

This one is tough! I’ve got to say lake, though, followed by salt water beach as a close second.

What did you appreciate or what made you smile this past week? 

I took Amtrak this week! I had my own cabin complete with a bunk bed. It was so much awesome I can’t even tell you how much it was awesome. It was like a room picked me up and carried me to Baltimore.

    1. I know, right? I’m so disappointed not to have solved a murder. I had it all planned out, too. I – the trope old maid librarian – travelling solo, is sitting in the dining car when there’s a scream…. I go running… the body of an older man falls out of the lavatory. There’s a detective on board, he tells us to take a seat in the dining car and interviews us one by one. He’s a crusty, world worn detective, but there’s something about my bubbly optimism and need to help people find information that charms him….
