I always thought it was about empathy. Others call it the Rule of Reciprocity. Some people say it’s the only life rule you need.

Personally, I think it’s a good goal, but not useful in every situation. I know in law there are times you have to treat others even better than you would treat yourself. As for ramifications, nah. There are too many unemphatic people in this world for there to be ramifications.

Nah. Of course not. I don’t know what you’re even talking about… and maybe, if we do, we learned it from you, Ancient Egypt. We learned it all from you.

Such interesting answers! I like your perspective on the Golden Rule, and yes, I suppose ancient Egypt did contribute to anthropomorphism to a great degree. And yay for the First Responders! Such brave people! 🙂

Hi Denny! We didn’t get hit as bad as other parts of the state. Tree limbs and whatnot. Didn’t lose electricity, although it blinked a few times. We were very, very lucky.
