What are some misconceptions about your hobby, should you have a hobby?
I don’t know if you should have a hobby. Hobbies can be expensive, so there’s that.
Plus, hobbies can be those things which aren’t traditionally defined as hobbies. For example, one of my hobbies is my greyhound.
One hobby I have that my family and friends know about is writing. The misconception? That it’s about fame or money. I write because I like to write.

He says nothing. We stare at each. I clear my throat. He turns around and leaves. I go back to working on my paper.

Peace? Pfft. They’ve been studying us for a while. They know better.
