Here's a story about Haywood Hall. Haywood Hall is a historical site in downtown Raleigh. Built somewhere between 1799 to 1801, it has the distinction of being the oldest house within the original city limits remaining on its original foundation.  It houses period furnishings and is open for tours on certain days of the week....
