    1. There’s an overpopulation of deer in the area of the country. They’ve lost their natural fear. I’ve seen a herd of 30 plus deer cross the highway a couple of times now. And this one was chock full of attitude. She saw me, sniffed, then turned and sauntered off, like I wasn’t even worth a second look.

      She might even be the one who’s ate my mother’s hostas.
